Tổng hợp những từ nối trong Writing IELTS Task 1 bạn cần nắm

1.Từ nối Thêm thông tin

• In addition/ Additionally/ Besides/ Apart from: Ngoài ra, bên cạnh đó

Ví dụ:

In addition, there was a footpath at the end of the footbridge and a tennis court was added in the middle of the footpath and the lighthouse land.

Besides, there are 29% of men living in this country working in agriculture compared to a higher percentage of 43% of female laborers.

Ví dụ:

The 3-bedroom house and 4-bedroom house will replace the packing and storage areas in the Western part. 

Regarding age group, while young people prioritize education as well as other areas, the elderly put more emphasis on funding for the health sector.

Ví dụ:

2.Từ nối Hậu quả

• Therefore/ Thus: do đó, vì vậy

Ví dụ:

Therefore, the factory is predicted to be replaced by apartments, which will be located next to the newly-added parking area.

No change is predicted to be made in the external part; thus, the road to the main entrance and the original car park will undergo no change.

Ví dụ:

Most categories experienced a slight decrease in sales this year, for example, cars, motorbikes, and trucks.  

6.Từ nối Tổng quát

• Overall/In general: nhìn chung

Ví dụ:

Overall, it can be seen that the most remarkable proposed feature of the school is the addition of one school building and car park. 

• It can be seen/It is clear/It is obvious that  + clause: có thể thấy rằng

Ví dụ:

It can be seen that all four categories experienced an upward trend in funds received from investment during the whole period.  

It is obvious that the amount of fruit produced in Spain always took the leading position among the four countries. 

• As can be seen/ As an overall trend that + clause: có thể thấy rằng

Ví dụ: 

As can be seen that, flights in both directions generally displayed patterns that are similar to one another, with higher prices from Friday through Monday.   

As an overall trend that while the social science departments attracted the majority of female students, there were a large number of undergraduates who preferred learning IT and engineering at university.

Từ nối chỉ sự tương đồng trong IELTS Writing Task 1 

• Likewise/Similarly/Also : tương tự

Ví dụ:

Likewise, the amount of fruit yielded in Germany went down gradually to 1.5 million tonnes in 1990.

Similarly, people aging from 35 – 64 in England think the government should spend more money on health (approximately 50%).

• Clause and clause (also)

Ví dụ:

Sally sings very beautifully, and she also has a good dancing skill.

8.Từ nối So sánh

• While/whereas: trong khi đó

Ví dụ:

9.1. Bắt đầu process

• To begin with/ First of all/ In the first step: bước đầu tiên

Ví dụ:

In the first step, two main components namely water and milk are mixed together.

To begin with, whole beans are selected from the picking-up process before being dried to extract their shell. 

• The first step in the process is/ The first stage in the process is: bước đầu của quá trình là

Ví dụ:

The first step in the process is the collection of raw materials, in which the sheep are raised until they are matured enough to produce a thick layer of fur.  

9.2. Các steps tiếp theo

• Following that/followed by/At the following stage: tiếp theo sau 

Ví dụ:

In the first step, two main components namely water and milk are mixed together.

To begin with, whole beans are selected from the picking-up process before being dried to extract their shell. 

• In the next/ subsequent step/After that/ Subsequently: sau đó, bước kế tiếp

Ví dụ:

After that, the mixture is cooled for 2 hours at a temperature of 5 Celsius degrees.

Ví dụ:

Finally, the wool turfs are spun into balls of yarn which can either be used for knitting or for the production of woolen products such as jackets and carpets.

Ví dụ:

The process finishes with the final products which are labeled and sealed before being sold in the market.
